About Me
Hi, I'm Monica!
Welcome to Bones & Beans Creative Studio, a small (but mighty) business based in Palm Beach County, FL, built by hand, one engraving, one stitch, and one late night at the craft table at a time.
This all started back in 2023 as a creative outlet. Caregiving is hard, and I needed something that was just mine, something to breathe through the stress. What started as a little hobby to keep my hands busy and my mind calm quickly turned into a full fledged business. I like to think my grandparents would be proud. They built a successful business from the ground up, and watching them do that planted a seed in me long before I knew I'd grow my own.
I've been sewing for over 25 years, so embroidery felt like the natural next step. Somewhere along the way, engraved tumblers became my first love (and still are), and it all grew from there into the shop you see today. At the heart of it, I just love making something personal for people. Something they can't grab off a shelf at a big-box store. When you order from me, you're not getting mass produced. You're getting attention to detail, care, and a little piece of the "extra" that big brands can't replicate.
When I'm not engraving, embroidering, or elbow-deep in a 3D printer, I'm probably chasing around my amazing daughter (the actual light of my life), wrangling two dogs and three cats, or dragging my husband Keith to another weekend market. He didn't technically sign up to be my "unpaid intern," but you'll always find him there, setting up tables and hauling boxes like the true MVP he is.
Starting this business taught me something fast: nobody is coming to save you, and there are a lot of gatekeepers in this industry. So I made it my mission to be the opposite of that. That's why you'll find me on TikTok, Reddit, and YouTube sharing real tips, tricks, and mentorship on laser engraving, embroidery, and 3D printing, because if I can help even one person break through the way I had to figure it out on my own, it's worth it.
Thanks for being here and for supporting a small business that's really just me, my family, and a whole lot of heart.
